Business

Welcome to the Business-related Projects. This section combines various projects, all crucial for a successfully running business. Some projects are individual and some- in group.

01

Business Meetings (Educational)

I have held various business meetings with peers to discuss:

-> Risks and challenges which a business faces

-> Advantages & Disadvantages of aspects/solutions

-> Giving recommendations on issues

-> Discussion with others over taking a business decision

-> Giving and assessing others' pitches

-> Conducting interviews

-> Negotiating to achieve a certain company goal

02

Business Communication - Written

I have learned how to communicate not only in spoken, but also in written Business English by creating writings such as:
-> Direct Mailing

-> Memos

-> Press Releases

-> Management Summary

-> Emails: introducing company, asking for advice/information, expressing a complaint, replying to enquiry emails/complaints, describing graphs & trends.

-> Customer Segment

-> Customer Value Proposition

-> Key resources & Core activities

-> Partnerships

-> Revenue streams & Cost Structure

-> SWOT Analysis

04

Intercultural Awareness

Hofstede Dimensions:

are one of the most famous mechanisms nowadays to analyse cultures' similarities and differences and understand how to act accordingly:

-> Power Distance

-> Uncertainty avoidance

-> Individualism - Collectivism

-> Masculinity - Femininity

-> Short-term - Long-term orientation

-> Restraint - Indulgence

-> Building a model of expected income during a specific period of time

-> Determining an order quantity which will lead to lowest total costs for a business

-> Deciding if a person is eligible for something, based on more than 3 rules

-> Predicting future situations based on current conditions

-> Finding value from a table based on related characteristics

-> Doing the above, but with more freely, no matter of the position of the data

-> Finding out matches based on current data

-> Finding solutions to optimize problems

-> Extracting needed data from pivot tables

-> Presenting the complex data in a structured way via different charts
